Show L EASED GRAPEVINE No bids had been received early this week for food concessions conces-sions at the new and old terminals termi-nals at the Salt Lake Municipal Airport, but Parks Commissioner Commis-sioner L. C. Romney said interest in the concessions seems to be high. Deadline at the City Recorder's Re-corder's office for submitting bids is April 6 at 5 p.m., however, how-ever, bidders may submit bids in person prior to opening bids April 7 at 10:30 a.m. The Salt Lake City Commission Commis-sion this week adopted a proposal pro-posal of the city and county planning commissions to jointly develop a new multi-million dollar dol-lar civic center immediately east of the City and County Building. George W. Romney, president of American Motors, spent several sev-eral days in Salt Lake City this weke. He was here on a mixed business and pleasure trip. The section of the lower Provo River from the Geneva Road downstream to the area known as the Madsen Pump was closed to all fishing last week end as the wall eyed pike began their annual spawning run. The water has been posted with suitable signs in the closed section. This portion of the river will remain closed to fishing until un-til further notice. The section of the Provo from Highway 91 west to the Geneva Road and the portion of the river below the Madsen pump, will remain open to fishing during this period. Vice Admiral Maurice Curts, USN, Commander Western Sea Frontier and Commander Pacific Reserve Fleet with headquarters on Treasure Island, will be relieved re-lieved of his command by Vice Admiral Frederick N.
