Show Fish-Came Board Sets Angling Season Utah State Fish and Game Commission action has now set the angling orders to be in effect ef-fect during the 1959 seasons. The regulations will first become be-come effective January 1, 1959, on waters open to all year angling, an-gling, to the four streams open to white fishing only and during the regular season for angling now set by the commission to begin June 6 and end November 30, 1959. Except for only a few restricted waters, boats, rafts and other floating devices without motors may now be used in angling on all waters of the state. Boats with motors may still be used for fishing on the same waters as in recent years. A liberal rule regarding use of baits now allows the use of any bait except game fish or parts thereor, or live fish. Several new waters, most of them in the lower valleys, were added to the long list of those which may be fished throughout the year. The current whitefish only season on portions of the Logan, Blacksmith's Fork, Weber and Duchesne Rivers was extended through February 15, 1959. |
