Show New Law Puts Tax . . On Gaming Devices A new law which levies an annual an-nual tax of $10 on each amusement amuse-ment device and $250 on each gaming device, regardless of how they are operated, will become be-come effective January 1, 1959. Charles I. Fox, District Director Direc-tor of Internal Revenue, said the old law which ends December 31, 1958, imposes these taxes only on devices operated by insertion of a coin, token or similar object. ob-ject.
