Show For Criminal Libel. The Tribune has of late been savagely attacking Marshal Parsons for his action in allowing a deputy marshal to act as escort to young McErlaiu, who is charged with embezzling funds belonging to Studebaker Bros., and on Saturday night the matter culminated cul-minated in the arrest of C. C. Goodwin and Coi. William Nelson, the editor in chief and managing editor of the Tribune, on the charge of criminal libel. E. B. Critehlow drew up the complaint and Judge Powers represented the defendants, who were taken before Commissioner Norrell. The court set the examination for Wednesday. |
