Annie Prindle has been released, but San ford Masterson is not disposed to let the matter rest where it ended in the police court. He believes that Annie is a dangerous danger-ous woman and don't intend to be a target for her six-shooter again if he can help it. The statement has been made by Miss Prindle's sister, who appears to be a most estimable lady, that when Annie called at Mastersou's place a few days ago and created a disturbance, disturb-ance, it was not for the purpose of seeing . eer former lover but to obtain possession of certain I Masterson denies this and says th which appeared ia Thb Times "Some two months ago," said Mr. Mas-terson, Mas-terson, "she called at my saloon early one niorning, and called for drinks. I refused to give them to her or . have anything to do with her. Then she asked me to give her certain letters which I have in my possession, posses-sion, saying that it would be money in her pocket if she could get them. I declined to comply with the request, and after awhile she went away." "What are the letters you refer toy" asked- the reporter. "I don't want to say anything about them," continued Mr. .Masterson. "It is a personal affair of mine. She came here the other day when I was out, and after inquiring inquir-ing for me, went up stairs. She was under the influence of liquor, and the statement of her appearance was not exaggerated in the least. She told my wire that she was after me, and did not say a word about letters, nor did she mention that subjeet when I went up stairs. She certainly did refuse to leave and I had to call a policeman." "What do you propose to do about It?" "I arn going to swear to another complaint, because she has threatened my life. I have no desire whatever what-ever to injure her, but her past conduct has shown her to be a dangerous woman, and I don't propose to run any risks, that's all there is about it. If she would leave me alone I wouldn't interfere with her, but I cannot afford to run any risks." The matter will probably come up on an application to have her put under bonds to keep the peace before the week is over. Police Court.
