Show The Sundry Civil BUL Washington, March 25. The sundry civil appropriation bill will be reported to the house this afternoon. The whole amount carried by the bill is $35,157,787, being $13,337,574 less than the last bill. Among the important items in it are ; The Chicka-niauga Chicka-niauga National park, $150,000; the enforcement enforce-ment of the Chinese Exclusion act, $50,000; claims, back pav and bounty, $750,000; propagation pro-pagation of food fishes, $243,900; soldiers' homes, S2,587,851 ; aid to state and territorial territo-rial homes, $650,000: interstate commerce commission, $235,000; life Baring service, $1,054,875; construction of public buildings, $1,875,500; river aud harbor work authorized author-ized by law, $814,000; statute to General Sherman in Washington, $5i).(KK); expenses of United States courts, $8,330,000: V. ll,,. stone park, $40,000; for expenses of agents and food and clothing for the natives of the Alaska seal islands, $27,000. |
