Show Hismarck's lllaess Serious. Berlin, March 25. The sudden illness of Prince Bismarck on Monday was much more serious than at first reported. The prince has not of late been in good health. His doctors have declared that a complete abstention ab-stention from political excitement is necessary neces-sary for his health, forty years' hard work having arlecjed his nerves. On Monday he was suddenly stricken with alarminjr symptoms symp-toms of collapse. He had several fainting fits, and for a time it was feared that the. re-suit re-suit would be serious. Prompt medical attention at-tention enabled the prince to rally, but he is still veiy weak and far from convalescent, when he was tirst stricken, the appearanees were so unfavorable that telegrams were sent out stating his dangerous condition, but he rallied in time to justify his family in having the telegrams canceled. |
