In the parliament which was recently dissolved dis-solved tho laiiorites had no dirnci representation. rep-resentation. The comparatively large representation in the new parliament is the result of the eight hour agitation in the. cities and of the bitterly fought lost dockers' strike at .Sydney last year. The labor unions were then thoroughly organized for political work. The result re-sult is the election of twenty six members mem-bers mostly from Sydcey.f loulburn and Maitland port districts.which are walking walk-ing delegate centers. |
