A horrible railroad accident Occurred at Aspen Junction, eighteen miles west of Aspen, ou the Midland road at 11 o'clock Sat-urday night. A special train of baggage car and one passenger coach was returning to Aspen from Clenwood Springs. The passenger coach contained about thirty passengers, mostly Aspen people. The train was backing from tho water tank to switch on to the Aspen track when a road engine was run out of tho round house and tho rear of the pas-senger train hit tho check valve on tho shle of the boiler which exhausted hot steam into the broken end of the pas-se iger car, scalding thirteen passen-gers, live men, seven women and one child. The car was thrown from the track. The passengers arrived at Aspen in a baggage car at 1:110 yesterday morning.
