William Tuttle.who used his knife so freely in threatening hu person of William Anderson, was orought up for trial. The evidence showed that Tuttle was guilty of an assault, as-sault, and he was therefor .sentenced to pay a tine of J40. This is the case that happened at Harrisville where the two men quarreled over wages, said to be flue Tuttle from the Anderson pressed brick company. - The following call for a republican convention was today issued by the Ogdeu and Weber county club: To the republicans of Utah territory: The organization of the two national parties is now in progress. There are in Utah thousands of voiers who have not as yet allied themselves with either of tho two great parties, and who are now studying the question of national politics.
