The Moss murder trial was among tha regular settings for tho day, and as the defendant has skimmed much of tho cream of the local bar, whilo United States Attorney Varian and his chief lieutenant. Mr. Critchlow, represented the prosecution, the crowd had every reason to expect some thrilling thrill-ing if not acrimonious tilts from tho aiart. Tho dramatic feature of the day, however, was set aside for tho sotting of a dry civil docket that will: bo found below. The case of tho Peoplo against Johu Doe Flynn, indicted for grand larceny, km also "billed" for this morning, but iiitrod the fate of the more sensational features of the day's docket and went over until JO o'clock tomorrow morning. Thomas and Slephon Daniels were then arraigned aud allowed, on motion of Judge Powers, uutil Wednesday morning to plead. The defendants with two alleged accomplices aro charged with having stolen a barrel bar-rel of "Kentucky lymph" from the Union Pacitio Railway company, the same being valued at $75. The case comes over from Summit comity. Daniel Raleigh, indicted for unlawful cohabitation, was theu arraigned and pleaded guilty to the charge. His attorney, at-torney, Air. Condon, made a statement in his behalf, in which ho explained the cause of rather an unsavory experience and asked the mercy of the court. The prisoner explained that he was an impoverished im-poverished barber and tho court placed the penalty at $100 and costs of the prosecution.
