G, Ryan of Portland, Ore., put his autograph on the Templeton register this morning. Henry R. Rhone and wife arrived from Grand Junction at the Continental this morning. L. Schwartz of Milwaukee, is looking around Zion, with the Cullen for his headquarters, Luther L. llolden of Boston, Mass., arrived at the Templeton on Washington's Washing-ton's birthday. C. J. Mulkey, paymaster of tho Bullion-Beck is circulating among his lrieuds in Zion. John Eraser, Herbert Samuelson and F. llillier of London spent Washington's Washing-ton's birthday at the Cullen. Tho Templeton register received this morning, among others, the autograph of Edward W. Lehman of Denver. O. E. Jenkins, geueral western passenger pas-senger agent of the Rome, Walertown Hi Ogdensburg railroad, is in tho city. Messrs. Parley Williams and Arthur Brown, the well known counsellors, went out on a professional errand Saturday night. A.E. Hyde has returned from Idaho, where he went lo assist iu the rescue from the snow slide of the bodies of Brig Hampton and Spears. S.P.Smyth, formerly in charge of the dress goods department with Walker Bros. Co., has returned from au extended trip to California. Tho Cullen register has tho following autographs of Park City men: John L. Weber, David Keith, W. 1. Snyder, James Kervine and George Wariug. J. S. BIymyer of Cincinnati is in tho city, at the Templeton. He is interested inter-ested in the comfort of humanity during the summer, and bis ice machines are noted. K. B. Armour of Kansas City arrived at the Templeton this morning. Ho is a member of the family that nas made an enviable name in financial aud commercial com-mercial circles. G. S. Holmes, proprietor of the Continental, Con-tinental, arrived from the east iu Salt Lake Saturday evening. Among the places Mr. Holmes visited while absent was at Lynchburg, ()., where his father resided and who died shortly after his son arrived. M. J. Post, one of Denver's prominent promi-nent citizens, is in Salt Lake, the guest of G. L. Chamberlin. Mr. Post is here for the purpose of looking over tho ground and mav locate. Mr. Chamberlin Chamber-lin says other Denver parties will be here this week. Colonel Bert Black, the nestor of wholesale liquor dealers in Zion, has returned after a pleasant pilgrimage to the east and is again giving his attention atten-tion to the trade. He reports a most favorable feeling with reference to Salt Lake in the east and says the effect will make itself apparent in early spring. Joe D. Reef, an old lime prospector and now a capitalist at Leadville, Colorado, Col-orado, is a guest at the White house with his family en route to California, where he proposes to spend several months.
