Information has K reached St. Petersburg that most of tho jj Finnish senate have resigned to acocii- I tuaie their displeasure at the pro-Kus- J ginn sentiments expressed by the gov- T ernor of Finland, Count lleyden, in a recent speech to the senate. In the course of an ollieial utterance, Count lleyden declared that ho knew no other -will than that of the czar, aud should conduct his ollieial affairs strictly in conformity to that will. This utterance was indignantly resented by the resignation of many of tho foremost members. |
