Show A Dnblou Compliment. Ex-Representative "Pat" Collins, of Boston, lives jnst outeide of that city and has bought a donkey for the amusement amuse-ment of his two children. One day the donkey brayed mont loudly. "Why does Jack do that, mamma? j asked the children. "That is how the donkey talks," said Mrs. Collins. "And what does he say, mamma?" "I don't know, dear," said Mrs. Collins. Col-lins. "Wait until papa comes home. Ho can tell you what the donkey says." Mr. Collins savs this seems to him rather a dubious complimont.
