On last Friday morning her husband died of asthma, and his corpse yet lies in the house. Mrs. Tidball said shortly after her husband's death: "Keep the remains of my husband until Thursday, and I can be buried with him." This morning she said: "This house will be lonesome without my husband," and said, "Why can't I go now?" and then sank back, and in a few minutes was dead. They will be buried in one grave at Bloomfield tomorrow. Mrs. Tidball was the largest woman in the county, weighing about 800 pounds, while her husband weighed very little over 100 ponnds. |
