Show l'EKMONAL. Frederick Everett, M. D., of Chicago is registered at the Walker houso. Hon. J. E. Rockwell left to examine tho mines at Eureka this morning. II. W. Reed, general manager of tho Virgiuius mine at Ouray, arrived this morning aud is stopping at tho Continental. Con-tinental. Mr. and Mrs. D. W. P'ago and Mrs. Flora P. Turnoy and two children of Denver, Colorado, are stopping at the Continental and will remain in tho city for several weeks. Messrs. Al Thompson and Jack Nugent, Nug-ent, two of Ouray's particular stars, are in the city, the former having accepted ac-cepted a position at Carlyle's fountain of perpetual youth. Hon.C.C. Clements, formerly sm-veyor-general of Utah and now a prominent prom-inent land, attorney at Washington, D. C, is a guest at the Continental. Mr. Clenienls lived in Salt Lake city for nine years and is astonished at tho rapid growth and the evidence of the cily's prosperity since last ho was here. Messrs. A. B. and Charles Robinson of Denver, arrived in the city this morning to attend the bedside of their brother, Mr. Thomas Robinson, who is prostrated with typhoid pnemonia, and will remain until his condition has improved. im-proved. His friends all hope for his prompt and permanent recovery. |
