Show THE NATIONAL BOARD OF TRADE. Some Subjects of Importance to be Presented Pre-sented for Consideration. Indianapolis, Ind., Dec. 1. Special. Spe-cial. J Tho board of trade today elected four delegates to represent it at the annual an-nual meeting of tho national board of trade, which will be held at Now Orleans Or-leans next Monday. This it is thought, will be one ono of the most importan convention ever held by the national organization. The Chicago board will present for consideration the interstate commerce act and theButterworth bill. The Philadelphia board proposes for consideration "River and Harbor Improvements," Im-provements," "The Torrey Bankruptcy Bank-ruptcy bill' and "The American Amer-ican Merchants Marine." The The latter topic will also be proposed by the New lork board which in addition addi-tion will present the subjects: "The State Militia of the United States," "Naval Reserve," and the "Anti-Adulteration Law." The Chamber of Commerce Com-merce of Louisiana and the board of trade of Louisville will ask consideration considera-tion of the levees and the improvement of the Mississippi river. Tne Cincinnati Cincin-nati representatives will propose a discussion dis-cussion of the question of a unification of the monetary systems and the practicability prac-ticability of a national clearing house for the banking interests. |
