Show : Copperfield jj ; Agnes McDonald U. O. I. O. was entertained at the home of Mrs. Gib Swain. BOO was the main entertainment and the prize holders were Mrs. Francis Fran-cis Quinn, Mrs. Earle Hunter and Mrs. B. Nichols. Luncheon was served later In the afternoon. Miss Stella Klopenstein, Mrs. John Barrett and daughter Beverly Bev-erly left Tuesday evening for Los Angeles, California, where they will visit for two weeks. Mrs. George Georgeles from Helper is a guest of her two daughters dau-ghters Rose and Anne. A miscellaneous shower was given in honor of Mrs. Joe Rodda Saturday evening at the home of Miss Mildred Leatherwood. The following guests attended: the Misses Martha Lea Bells, Olive George, Deon Barratt, Lola Wing, Nancy Nepple, Lurene Nepple, Betty Hlgganbotham, Erma Peterson, Pe-terson, Betty Klnsey, Doreen Man-nlon, Man-nlon, Betty Belle, Vee Nebrekas, Agnes McDonald, Mrs. Dixie Wilson, Wil-son, Mrs. William Leatherwood, Mrs. Clarence Hlgganbotham and Mrs. Basil Dennis. Mrs. Rodda received re-ceived many lovely presents and a delicious luncheon was served later in the evening. A balloon dance was given in Copperfield Wednesday, May 26. Refreshments were served and Miss Marietta Sours and Miss Edith Leatherwood entertained by giving several Interpretive tap dances. Mrs. Saules and son, Miss Susan Su-san Barratt and Miss Florence Barratt from Wyoming were up visiting with Mr. and Mrs. John Barratt Monday. The .Copperfield Volunteer Firemen Fire-men met Tuesday and discussed plans for a grand Fourth of July celebration. The business . men have agreed to help. The Ladies auxiliary was entertained en-tertained Friday at the Office building. 600 was played and the holder of the prizes were Mrs. Francis Quinn, Mts. Ida Mugfur and Mrs. Amy Walters, who won house prize. A luncheon was served serv-ed and a pleasant time enjoyed. Mrs. E. G. lolson and granddaughter grand-daughter Anne of Salt Lake City, were guests of Mrs. Joe McDonald over the week end. |
