OCR Text	Show VETERAN'S IX SESSION., Iowa O. A. K. Men Relating Stories of the War- Des Moines, la., April 7. Spetdal. The auuual encampment of the department de-partment of Iowa, G. A. It., begau today to-day and will continue until Thursday. It is unquestionably the largest gather-iug gather-iug of union veterans that ever assembled assem-bled in this state. General Alger, commander-in chief of the G. A. K.. who arrived this morning received quite au ovation. The governors of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Nebraska Ne-braska have been invited and it is expected ex-pected that they will put in an appearance appear-ance before tho close of the encamp-raeut.
