It is a true lovo affair. The archduchess is one of the most talented tal-ented daughters of the Austrian house. Though on'y twenty years of age she is a poet of considerable reputation. Many of the short pieces, which during the Aramatic craze that aff ected Viennese society, have been acted at court, are the products of her pen. She enjoyed the tutorship of Bishop Rouay, who has published a book about his charge. Above her father's bod in the hunting castle at Styria, hangs a beautiful poem exquisitely framed, which she composed in houor of tho emperor, and which he pruts as one of his treasures. |
