Show Herriman Students To Present Play ... ? , 1 The operetta, "A Witch in A Toj Shop", which brought so much favorable fa-vorable comment from musicians and artists in the Jordan School District, will be given at 8;00 p. m. Wednesday, at the auditorium in the Bingham Central school. The play is an original written for the Herriman school. Every student in the school takes some part in production. The musi cal score and libretto were written by the principal of the school. Mr. Allen Fifield; the dances, dialogue, and staging are under the direction of Miss Grace Neilsen; the costumes and posters are the designs of Miss Margaret Tholen; the students of the school have helped in reproducing the posters which will be . seen around the town. The story has to do with a toy- ( I maker, lonesome and weary, who wishes for a witch to appear and ' put a spell over the toys in h s shop. j A witch does appear; then things begin to happen in song and dance, as all the toys are changed Into elves, pixies, and fairies. One, whose owner had not appreciated it as a toy, becomes a dwarf. YouH be delighted when you see what finally becomes of It. |
