Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sheen an nounce the engagement of theii daughter Melba to Frank Stepan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Stepan of Midvale. The marriage will taka place May 27, after which the young couple will make their home In Bingham. Miss Sheen is a graduate of the Bingham high school and has been active in the M. L A. here. Mr. Stepan Is a graduate of the Jordan high school and is an employee em-ployee of the Utah Copper company. II. & E. Club. Mrs. Ida Mugfur and Mrs. Gertrude Ger-trude Rogers entertained the H. & E. club Sunday evening. J Prospective Scouts, Oli I Scouts Meeting. All Girl Scouts and girls who wish to become Scouts are invitea to attend a party to be given at seven o'clock Monday evening, April 12, at the Civic Center. Girls of ten years or older are eligible. A pink and whito color scheme was used for the dining din-ing table which was centered with a pink animal cracker birthday cake. Favors were arranged at each place. A successful Joint meeting of the senior and Junior divisions of the American Legion auxiliary was held Wednesday evening at the Ci- Bridge Club. Mrs. Ross Hocking was hostess to her bridge club Friday afternoon with a one o'clock bridge luncheon. Mrs. A. E. Mitchell won the high score bridge club. No. 2 Auxiliary. Mrs. Edward Grant, a new auxiliary aux-iliary member, was welcomed into the No. 2 Fire auxiliary Monday evening. Mrs. Phoebe Siddowaywas hostess to ten members during the social part of the evening.
