Dinner Party t Mrs. Don Stuart of Fillmore Who has been a guest of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Aimer Berg, the past week was an honored hon-ored guest at a seven o'clock dinner party Tuesday evening at the Berg home. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Don Stuart, Stu-art, Mr. and Mrs. Don Carpenter, Carpen-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Nerdin, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Mitchell and Miss Doris Berg. J. U. (Club Mrs. Lou Andreason entertained entertain-ed the J.' U. club Wednesday evening at her home. Prizes at Five Hundred were presented M'rs. Alice Peterson, Mrs. Lll Davidson and Mrs. Bob Streator. Mrs. R. O. Frasier, Mrs. Harry Parker, Mrs. Art Macke, Mrs. John Robertson. Prizes at bridge were presented Mrs. J. C. Land-enberger, Land-enberger, Mrs. Ted Roblson and Mrs. Earl Scott of Copperfleld. Eagles Auxiliary , Mrs. Herb Oust was reelected president of the Order of Eagles auxiliary last Thursday evening at a meeting of members in the Masonic hall. With the exception of a few offices to be filled next meeting those chosen Included : Mrs. Gust, president; Mrs. Al Ooff, vice president; Mrs. Irvln Stlllman, secretary; ' Mrs. Ida Kannlainen, treasurer; Mrs. Jack Lenin of Salt Lake City, inside guard; Mrs. Lou Andreason, conductress. con-ductress. No. 2 Fire Auxiliary Eleven members of the No. 2 Fire auxiliary attended the meeting meet-ing Monday evening at the No. 2 hall, Mrs. Joe Timothy entertained en-tertained during the social part of the evening and presented Mrs. Eddie Grant and Mrs. Tom Masters with high score prizes and Mrs. Bessie West the house prize. Refreshments were srved. Spring Wedding tA beautiful spring wedding of interest to local residents wM that of M'iss Mary Louise Prink, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Charl-es T. Trisk of . 173 E street, Salt Lake City, and Mr. Miax J. Spendlove, Bon of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Spendlove of this city. The ceremony was performed at 8 o'clock Monday evening in the Unitarian church by Reverend Rev-erend Jacob Trapp. The church was decorated with lilacs and tulips. Lighted yellow tapers were used In the candelabra. Miss Floroence Summerhays and Mr. Howard Frazoe sang several vocal solos while the families and friends of the couple assembled. assem-bled. The bride was charmlnig in her mother's wedding dress of flowered satin. Her veil was of lace and fell from a coronet of rhlnestones and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of roses, f see. via and gardenias. Attending as matron of honor was Mrs. Helen McNelly, who wore orchid georgette. The attendants at-tendants ! were frocked alike in georgette ' models made with long flowing full skirts and quillted Jackets. Rebckahs Miss Althea Chrlatensen entertained enter-tained Tuesday evening for the Ruth Rebekah lodge at her home. A round table discussion of the origin, history and growth of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Fel-lows was held. Time was also spent at bridge with Mrs. Sellna Nerdin and Mrs. Marie Stuart winning prilzes. Refreshments were served to thirteen. Sunday Dinner Mr. and Mrs. R. E. M'cElroy of West Jordan entertained Mother's Moth-er's Day at dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Alger Baum, Mrs. Ida Mug-fur Mug-fur and Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Daggers Dag-gers and family. No. 1 Fire Auxiliary Mrs. Earl James entertained the No. 1 Fire auxiliary Monday Mon-day evening at the Fire hall. Mrs. Sophie Bemls and Mrs. James Culleton won prizes. Relief Society Eugene Morris of the Bingham Bing-ham blahoprlc spoke to members of the Relief Society Tuesday on the work that organization was doing. Junior Legion Auxiliary -, Services of the American Legion Le-gion Junior auxiliary were offered of-fered the senior auxiliary on Poppy day, May 26, at the monthly mon-thly meeting held at the home of Mtb. Miss Marjorle and Miss'Frank- Summer Wedding Planned Mr. and Mrs. Louis Buchraan recently announced the engagement engage-ment of their daughter, Miss Barbara Pauline Buchman, to Ralph Wells Robinson Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wells Robinson of Berkeley, Cal. The marrlaige will take place early In July. Miss Buchman Is a former student stu-dent of the University of Utah and a graduate ot the University Universi-ty of California at Berkeley, where she Is now doing graduate work.
