Show MUSIC STUDENTS WIN HONORS AT REGION MEETING The Bingham high school band won a superior double plus on their playing and a superior rating rat-ing on marchinlg at the Region No. 2 music festival in Morgan last Friday and Saturday. The ladles chorus rated good. The Junior high school band was given a highly superior minus score on their playing. They did not march. Winning encouragement from the scores given thtem were the following local music students: Albert Dunn, trombone solo, superior; Spencer Jacques, Rex Tripp. Russell Gust, trumpet trio, excellent; Betty Householder, Household-er, alto solo, highly superior; Irene Deakin .soprano solo, highly high-ly superior; Jack Householder, tenor solo, rated excellent; Jack Householder, bass horn, highly superior minus; Billy Denver, piano solo, good; Marian Pett, piano solo, superior; super-ior; Robert Siddoway, cornet, ex. cellent; Calvin Jones, superior; John Chlplan, violin, superior; Yukeo Ishimatsu, b flat clarinet, highly superior; Garn Carpentier. alto sax, superior; Gordon Ramsey, b flat clarinet, highly superior; Eddie Toblason, cornet, superior; Robert Faddis, french horn, excellent; Alto saxophone sax-ophone solo, Billy Clough, highly superior; Gordon Ramsey, baritone bari-tone horn, superior; Billy Clough, Davie Farnsworth, George Accis-tan, Accis-tan, saxophone trio, superior. Bands and soloists were rated rat-ed with plus and minus degrees noted, highly superior, superior, excellent, good and average. |
