Following re-gular business, Paul Richards gave a reading "John Gaines Godfrey"; Mrs. S. J. Bleakley sang two solos, "Dream otf Para-dise" and "A Christmas Carol" accompanied by Mrs. C. A. Mor-le- y; Ethel Richards gave a read-ing "Aunt Doleful'a Philosophy." Tables were arranged for whist with Mrs. Art Sorenson, Mrs. Leon Pardoon of American Fork, Mr. Ed Heather and Glen Stuart winning prizes. Luncheon was served later. Mr. and Mrs. Marriott were present-ed with many lovely gifts. The young couple are at home at 354 Main street. Emanon Club Mrs. W. S. Jones was hostess to the Emanon club Tuesday evening. Dinner was served to twelve members and guests. Mrs. George Bolman and Mrs. Vern Baer won high score prizes. Places were ar-ranged for Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marriott, Mr. and Mrs. John Turner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carlston, Mr. and Mrs. Ral-d- o Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Ray-mond Marriott, Mr. Harold Mar-riott and Mrs. Ray'Tatton. t -- . .- - Bingham Miss Weds Helperit The marriage of Miss Evelyn Murray, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Murray of Bingham to Mr. Dominic Prlano of Helper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Prl-ano, took place Friday, Novem-ber 26, in Salt Lake City. A reception honoring the young couple was given Monday even-ing in the L. D. S. wardhouse by Mr. and Mrs. Murray. Seventy-f-ive guests were present. Dancing followed a program that Included: A song and dance by Barta Hughes of Sandy; piano solo by Peter Stuart af Sandy; solo by Thelma Jensen of Copperton; so-lo by Wayne Shaw. Refreshments were served dur-ing the evening. Miss Edna' Smith entertained last Tuesday with a shower for Miss Murray. The former Miss Murray was a 1937 graduate of Bingham high school. Mr. Prlano graduated from Carbon high school at Price. The couple are making their home In Helper. Mrs. Pete Smith of Copperton and Mrs. Rulon Timothy enter-tained with a shower Saturday at Riverton for Miss Murray. Twenty-fou- r guests attended and many lovely gifts given the hon-or guest. Miss Larlck Feted Mrs. Theo Chesler, Mrs. A. A. Macke and Mts. Joe Kemp were hostesses Tuesday with a one o'clock luncheon and shower com-plimenting Miss Irabel Larlck, a bride elect, at the home of Mrs. Kemp In Mldvale. Covers were arranged for twenty guests. Miss Larlck received lovely gifts. Prizes at bridge were won by Mrs. W. S. Jones and Mrs. Roy Shilling. Mrs. Bert Thomas and Miss Alidia Thomas entertained with a personal shower honoring Miss Isabel Larlck, a bride-ele- ct whose marriage to John Dobson will be an event of December 7, Saturday evening at the Thomas home in Lark. Games were play-ed and prizes won by Miss La Jeune Granquist and Mrs. Joseph-ine Johnson. Favors were cello-phane corsages. The Bingham ward Relief so-ciety entertained in honor of the Carr Fork group Tuesday, No-vember 80, at two o'clock In the ward house. Beautiful fall flowers adorned the room. A program was presented in the manner of a radio broadcast. Mrs. Ruby Day was master of ceremonies and radio announcer. Prayer was offered by Phoebe Slddoway; a burlesque of grand opera was given by the "Warb-lers," Nora Austin, Lola Soren-son, Hazel Elmer, Faun Jewett, Wilda Hansen, Eva Carpenter and Flossie Ramsey; Elnora Peterson gave the wel-come speech; Hazel Elmer and Faun Jewett gave a duet; Alia Archibald read a comic reading; Wllda Hansen sang a solo; an amateur hit "Mountaineers In Oostuime" by Jane Spendlove, Jane Nichols playing the har- - No. 1 Fire Auxiliary Mrs. Lon Rawllngs was hos-tess to the No. 1 Fire auxiliary Monday evening. High score bridge prizes went to Mrs. Ed Newman, Mrs. James Culleton and Mrs. Jack Householder won the consolation. Refreshments wer served to sixteen. 4 No. 2 Fire Auxiliary Mrs. Cliff Buttenfleld was hos-tess Monday evening to mem-bers of the No. 2 fire auxiliary.
