Show Glass In Middle Agra In medieval Europe glass was used far less frequently than in Rome. But in Paly and Germany, late in the Middle ages, there was a renaissance of the industry, with Vonice particularly attaining a reputation rep-utation for the skill of its artisans. All the processes of blowing, enameling enam-eling and gilding developed up to this time were mastered in Venice by the guild of glass blowers who also made important contributions of their own. They developed a clear, transparent glass capable of being blown into more fantastic and fragile shapes than had hitherto been possibly. |
