DEr DEMAND AND A REVISION OF CITY ORDINANCES There Is a move on root fOot f ot among the at attorneys attorneys attorneys of ot the city to secure a revision of the he city ordinances The last revision was made In 1903 and Is now no completely out of ot date and practically valueless In or der to locate ordinances passed since the revision it is necessary to go to the city recorders office and spend an hour in searching through the files flies of the ordinances ordinances nances passed during the past fou years It Is probable that an appeal will be made to the council at an early date that thata a revision be commenced by January 1 at the latest It Is contemplated carrying the old books up to January L 1 1903 and then es establishing establishing the new accounting system transferring the balances at the end of the year from the old to the new books and ald discarding the old for everything except reference purposes The mayor is much interested in this work and will cooperate with the audi auditors tors torn In every way possible
