Ogden late in October The Tho club women are cent their starts farts this year on the construction of the manual training building for Canyon Crest and work has already begun be n on the excavations for that building It ItIs ItIs ItIs Is hoped that It may be completed by bythe bythe bythe the time of the October meeting The building is to be of frame and will be beabout beabout beabout about feet in sizes size It will have havo havea a blacksmith shop In one end nd and anI an a carpenter shop in the o other her The plans are being made by W H Lepper Lopper and an lumber and other materials are being donated for tor the purpose besides the money raised by the club chub women dun dur during duning ing the past year Tho The Canyon Crest movement started by the club women snow Inow neary two years ago at has become a 11 reality largely through the efforts of ofa a few devoted and unselfish women I who have mothered the Idea Id n aid also ulo i the poor homeless boys who have found life Rosalie Pollock I visited the ranch going out in convey conveyances conveyances conveyances ances hired for the purpose Needless to say they saw a work the proportions of which they the had never even cven guessed at and they were not slow to express I their cordial approval Not content i with that as some more able have been they sent on their return a check for 55 5 for the good of the cause An the Ute city schools and yet et there Is for them this winter no prospect of a school because there are no funds for a teacher Neither is there an assured Income for any pur purpose purpose purpose boys are thriving and there Is a good living assured them The big new shop will provide a practical pra education for them thom and the club women hope to DC no Deable able to do more for them still
