Show KAYSVILLE KA PIONEER DEAD George W Webster Dies of Injuries Sustained In Accident Special to The Herald Kaysville 7 George William Webster ono one of oldest am and most highly respected citizens died a at athis athis his home here early this morning after a few days illness Ulness the result of an acci accident accident accident dent last Tuesday While unhitching his team the animals became frightened am amran and ran away knocking Mr Webster down The wagon passed over his head and one of the horses kicked him in the ear car He rallied from the accident but later com corn complications complications set in which resulted In hi his death Funeral services will be held from the Kaysville meeting house Wednesday afternoon at 2 with burial in the Kaysville cemetery Mr Webster was born In Luten Bed England on May 26 1838 and joined the Mormon church in his native land when quite young He emigrated to Utah in 1855 settling in Kaysville where he has since resided His former wife Mrs Christianna Webster died fifteen years ago and later he married Miss Annie L Lattimer of ot Salt Lake Mr Webster Is survived by a widow two sons John Webster and George W Yo Web Webster Webster Webster ster sixteen grandchildren two great grandchildren one brother Levi Lev Webster and one ona sister Bister Mrs Ellen Marston all o of whom live In Kaysville Mr Webster made several trips back to his native land during the past few years and each time was the means of ot bringing many families from England to Utah Mrs Ann Bacon underwent a serIous operation at the Kaysville hospital Sat Saturday Saturday Mrs Parley Taylor of Ogden who was operated upon at the hospital a few days ago for a severe attack o ot of appendicitis and who has been very sick since is believed to be somewhat Im Improved improved proved Parley Webb who has been sick at the hospital hero here for the tho past five weeks suf suffering suffering suffering fering from an attack of ot typhoid fever is much better and it is expected that he will wilt be able to leave the Institution to tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow morrow postmistress Mrs Sarah E Eo ETaylor BTaylor Taylor who was operated upon at the Kaysville hospital a few days ago am and who has been In a very critical condition Is much better Lawrence B Coles son of Mr and Mrs John Coles of this place was brought brough homo home from Chicago where he has been doing missionary work on Friday evening very sick and is now at the L D S hos hospital hospital pital in Salt Salt alt Lake His condition is seri serious serIous serious ous Scarlet fever has again broken out in Kaysville the home of George Kennedy being quarantined for the disease yester I day Two of his children are ill UI with the I malady I |
