Votes Being Counted March 7 A meeting between railroad managers and amI a committee rep representing resenting the firemen of the thc Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and had been set for today toda In Chicago but It was found that the vote yote could not be counted until late tonight or tomorrow and a postponement of ot the meeting was asked for This was set for foz next Wednesday Though no public statement was Issued when the men inert made the demands It H was understood the managers returned a flat refusal to increase the pay pa but yielded on some points concerning working con conditions conditions The matter was referred to the brotherhood for a vote yote It was stated tonight that the yote vote Indicated the men were against accepting the counter of offer offer offer fer and that such would be beth the report at atthe atthe the tM meeting Wednesday It was believed however both sides would agree to arbitration
