0 immersed in self we are all too immersed in self that Is where the trouble lies it if wo could only get out of ourselves enough to forget personal feelings in our relations with outsiders they would not have to suffer for no fault of their own the stenographer and bookkeeper would not have to put up with their employers irascibility the maid would not have to endure her mistress harsh faultfinding the poor dramatists play would not have to tail fail because of the cri critics craties ties indigestion and the singer would not be hopelessly set back because of the reviewers grippe all this of course will only come when we have learned a little about self con arol and self forgetfulness
