They will at once put a force at work !on the lfd: Mr. Daley taking charge of the development. He id believed lo be tho best miner who has ever been in Montana, and with abundant means will develop the properly as a mine should be developed. The advent of the Walker Brothers and their investment in Butte marks a new era in quartz mining in western Montana. They handle intelligent mining capital und plenty of it. It is money that haa been made in mining; min-ing; money that will open mined thoroughly and properly and money that will, il the miuea justify, put the kind of reduction works on them that will reduce ores rapidly and economically. econom-ically. We congratulate Butte on the acquisition of these investors, and believe be-lieve the Walker Brothers will find iheir best expectations realized. They are but those "going before" many others who will follow if their mines open woil, and western capital once well interested in our quartz mines tne prosperity of Montana is assured. It was a fortunate day for Butte and for all Montana when the first claim was sold to Walker Bros. We are pleased to have met the gentlemen and trust that Vipond and Trapper may impress them aa favorably as has Butte. Deer Lodge (M. X.) Aeir |
