Show The Law ol' Newspapers. 1. Subscribers who do not give express ex-press notice to the contrary are considered con-sidered aB wishing to continue their subscription?. 2. If any subscribers order the discontinuance dis-continuance of their newspapers, the publisher may continue to send them until all arrearages are paid. o. If subscribers neglect or refuse to taxe their newspapers from tho offices to which they arc directed, the law holds thc-m responsible until ibey have settled the bilM, and ordered them discontinued. 4. jf subscribers remove to other places without informing the publisher, pub-lisher, and the newspapers are sent to the former direction, they are held responsible. 5. The eouits have decided that refusing to take newspapers from the olfice, or removing aud leaving them uncalled for, is prima facie evidence of intputional fraud. 6. The postmststcr who neglects to give the hgal notice of the neglect of a person to Uko from the office the newspapers Addressed to him, is liable to the publisher for the subscription price. |
