The committee have nothing lo show that Sehenek was required to resign in obedience to a request of the British government, as has been stated; there is. however, reason to behove lhat Great Britain wili, at the proper time, make a formal claim lor indemnity on tho United Slates in behalfof Englishmen who auflercd by the Emma mine schema, having been deceived into tne belief that it had the endorse incut of the .
