Senator Ransom ol North Carolina, now here, repudiates repudi-ates tbe idea that the democrats will seek to control the organization ol the United States senate at the October BGBuion by an alliance with southern republicans Senators Spence, Dor-sey, Dor-sey, Patterson and Oonover, who are alleged to bo dissatisfied , with the administration. He thinks the democratic dem-ocratic party would lose more than they would gain by such a movement even if the senators would care to relinquish re-linquish the committee chairmanships which each one now holds.
