Show Sanpete News. Moust Pleasant, June 24, 76. Editors Etrald: t Another good and proper maD, George Coats of this place, has gone home to rest. After a severe sickness of nine days, at the age of 89 years, he has joined in the ceaseless march : of the comers and goers from and to the world of spirits. A family is left. A large circle of relatives and friends will do him honor to-morrow by a sermoD, attendance, and remembrance remem-brance of his many excellent virtues and integrity to the faith of his parents. An imposing committee ot the influential in-fluential men of this place has prepared pre-pared an unusually extensive programme pro-gramme for the coming Fourth. The various trades and prolessions are to be duly represented, and such other adjuuets, civil and ecalestasticnl, are to be added as shall make this celebration cele-bration a red-letter day. As an evidence of tho energy end vim of the bishop and people ol this! place, they are supporting nine workmen work-men upon the two temples, north and south. Thistle valley, the doubly-organized precinct, it being claimed by this county and Utah county, whs put into a church organization composed of whites and Indians. The Inuians' farm there looks well and evidences of industry, cleanliness and general improvement are by no means want. The weather is very warm, whicn with plenty of water brings our crops along finely. D- C. |
