Show Releases ani Appointments. The Millennial Star of June 4th contains the following releases and appointments of Utah missionaries: Elder Arta D. Youne is released rum uuues in tne Liverpool office, and Elder Charles W. Nibley ia ap pointed to succeed him. Elder Andrew Galloway is released from the presidency of the Newcastle and Durnam conference, and Elders D. K.. Udall (London) and William Stokes (Nottingham) are released to return home with the firat company, the latter on account of his health. Elder Jamej McFarland is released as a traveling elder in the Glasgow conference, and appointed to preside over the Newcastle aud Durham conference, con-ference, and Elders E. D. Wool ley, jun., and Royal B. Young are appointed ap-pointed to labor in the same. Elder Wm. H. Branch is appointed to labor in the Leeds conference. Alma L. Smith and Warren B. Smith in the Sheffield conference. Joseph E. Cowley in the Liverpuol conference, con-ference, more particularly in the Manx district. Juan R. Young in the Welsh conference, , Eraslus W. Mclntire in the Nottingham Not-tingham conference. Samuel L. Adams, jun , in the Birmingham conference. Daniel Jacobs, in tho Bristol conference. Jens AndersoB, Benght Nelson , John Peterson and Karl Olstn, being appointed for the Scandinavian mission, mis-sion, left for thfero via Hull and Hamburg on the 29th ult. Elders T. G. Webber and H. B. Clawson, jun., having been appointed, left for the Swiss and German mission mis-sion via London and Paris on the 1st inst. Elder F. S. Richards, who was in delicate health when he left Utah, is so far recovered as to accompany Elders Webber and Clawson, expecting expect-ing to gather increased strength in Switzerland and other continental countries, until the weather is more established in England, when he will receive hie appointment. Elders Samuel Claridge, Joseph Bull, jun., and John McCarthy, are ! visiting friends (the latter in Ireland ), after which they will receive their appointments. Elders Thos. Lockyear, Job Row-laud, Row-laud, and Thos. Hancock, as purposed, pur-posed, are with their relatives for personal visit. |
