Honore replies that the records of his office show that neither-Judge Whit-tuker, Whit-tuker, issuing this order, nor Finney, the district attorney, on whoae motion jit was made, are legally commissioned 'or qualified, aud he refuses to recognize recog-nize them. Such order is a violation of the statu im) but he will lay the matter before Gov. Packard. Democratic lawyers, claim lhat Packard has recognized the Nicholle government by filing an answer to a suit against him in the Sixth district court, Tbe republican legislature has passed, a bill abolishing this court.
