Editor Herald: I see you are gentlemanly enough to correct the mistakes made in your paper in regard to the children I have had under my care, but in the case of Mr. McKnight's child the Tribune shut down on me and refused re-fused to publinh my personal or writ- j ten statements Being a non-Mr 1 mon, 1 felt pjwerles as to having j justice done me, and you can imagine my feelings in regard to the paper ' that I had been a subscriber for ever l tince it was prinud, aud bad always i advocated its liberality, uveu to the i inwkiitg for myoell enemies; a paper I I thought I could iely ou lor justice; a paper I thought 1 could scarcely live without. I cuu lell you that I was so filled with dUeust with such a lying and slanderous sheet that be trayed itself, that I havo never been tbe owner ol a copy siuce.
