Court convened at 10 o'clock a.m. On tho introduction aud motion of Hou. J. U. Sutherland, Mr. Milo A. Boyntou was Admitted to practice at tlio bar of tho supremo court. All proceedings of tho supremo court fioin May 14th to July 8th, 17 4, inclusive being the last session, were read, approved and signed by thr court. Bennett, Edq., of appellant's counsel, presented a petition for leavo to amoud and correct tho statement on appeal; placed on file, and' next Saturday Sat-urday was appointed as thn time for hearing arguments why the petition should not bo granted.
