The Haskins Case Submitted-The Submitted-The case of Joseph W. Ha.skin re ceived tho attention of the United States District court to day. Haskin was arroeted here on an indictment charging him with the commission of perjury in Utah, and an order of the court is neceneary in order that ho bo sent to Salt Lake. Messrs. Lake and Wright, attorneys for Haskin, this morning argued that the United Stales District court hag no jurisdiction jurisdic-tion over the case, and asked that the defendant be released. Messrs. Cogli-lan Cogli-lan and Gordon, for the proaecution, argued that the court had lull power to order the man to Salt Lake. The court took the case under advisement. S. F. Bnlttiin, 6th.
