Show The Black Hills Dead wood, D. T., 4. On yesterday ten men, employes of the Keets Mining Min-ing company, were arrested on the charge of grand larceny, preferred by the Aurora Mining company, for removing ore from the mining property prop-erty claimed by the latter. The herd of ponies that bo mysteriously mys-teriously appeared in Spearfisb valley about two weeks ago, turnB out to have been the property of a roviog band of Crow Indians, from whom they were stampeded in tbe Powder River valley, by order of Maj. Evans. The citizens who held the stock returned it to the owners. Good coal discoveries aro reported two miles southeast of Kapid. Tbe newly discovered oil regions of the Hills are beginning to attract considerable con-siderable attention aud many parlies are locating claims. |
