The parties implicated were Eljh Mount and Leroy Beamae. Tbe first named has lived in Bingham a number num-ber of years and was known as a bard-working and industrious young man, of quiet disposition. BeamaB waa what the "boys" there term a "gum boot gambler." A girl of the frail kind waa at the bottom of the dispute between the two, who claimed separate rights to her. They met at the abode of the nymph, and as Beamat made his exit Mount entered the house and closed the door. Beamas procured a large dragoon revolver and began firing through the door of the domicile and emptied all the chambers, inflicting a serious wound about six inches below the groin in Mount's leg. Tbe latter then got a pistol and returned tbe fire, slightly wounding Beamas in the abdomen. The feeling is bitter against tbe latter. Bingham isjookingup again. The leaching buainess will soon be lively. A ton of brimstone arrived there from Beaver on Tuesday evening, which will be uasd for leaching purposes. |
