The right of citiiaua of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United Btatea or by ny state on account o sex. Sac. 2. Congreis shall have power to ouforco this article-by appropriate legislation. Tbe bill introduced by Senator Sargent to relieve tho legal disabililiea of women, pro vidua that auy woman who shall have heun a member of the bar of thu highest court of any statu or territory, or ot the supreme court ol the District of Columbia, for tbree years, and shall have maintained a good atauding before suob court, and who shall be a person of good moral character, shall, ou motion and production of such record, be admitted to practice before the supreme su-preme court of the United States. |
