Faust, Esq, have been among us making arrangements arrange-ments for tho c-ttablithmeut of a regular business in tbia line, and these efforts have eo far succeeded that (he first car-load will be shipped lo-day. Mr. Vanderlip represents an Oakland company H. M. Ames fc Co. and the idea is to establish a permanent beef exportation buaineEa from this territory. If the undertaking proves successful, a ready market will be open for all the beef cattle raised in this neighborhood, and an incentivcj oflered for stock raising, as this com pany will take up all tne surplus cattlo of the terrilory, while it it abundantly able, so far money it concerned, to carry out the undertaking under-taking if their efforts are but properly seconded. |
