Show Runaway. A Bt-rioua runaway took place on Friday morning. A fiery team commenced com-menced running away at the Eagle Gale, the persons in the caniage jumping out. It ran to North Temple, Tem-ple, turned weat two blocks, turned Bouth to South Temple, and then camo east, galloping at a furious speed. A short distance east of the Xeics office a horse, attached to a light wagon, was lied to a post. In the wacon were two child mn nnH gentleman seeing the runaway team making in the direction of the light , wagon, took the children out, and just about in time, for the team ran directly towards the borse and struck it and the wagon, knocking the former down and breaking one of Ihe shafts. In the excitement, however, no one held it, aud finding itself free it darted away, down towards Main street, but striking the post on the e'dewoik at Ihe nurtUo'est corner ot lion. D. H. Wells' lot, eplit the wagon to pieces. No per-ion, strange 1 to say, was hurt. |
