At 10 o'clock this morning Sheriff Lee and Recorder Warburton will appear before Judge McKean, each to answer an alternative manda-runs manda-runs and show cause why a peremp- tory ordershoultlnot issue, compelling ' them to surrender their offices res-1 pectively lo J. M. Lynch and E. . Martin. It will be remembered that j Lee has once appeared before his Honor on a similar mandamus, but the petitioner, Mr. Lytchj failing to' produce any evidence of election, the 1 action was dismissed on his own ! motion. Since then Mr. Lynch has secured an abstract of the election rer j ttirns,and trie County Court has issued to Mr. Lee a certificate of election, so ' the case will presont some now phases when it comes up. After the County Court disposed of i tho conte3t last Saturday, it adjourned j st'iw die. The next term commences' on tlie first Monday in December. j i |
