Show ' Fatul Railway Collision. I Pittsburg, 20. A collision occurred j to-day on the low grade division ol j the Alleghany Yalk-y Railway, three j and a half miles east ot Xew Bethle- hem. Pa. James Esler, engineer, j and M. ICitlen of the mail train, and a passenger named Henry Doyle, ! were killed; Henry Weriz, express messenger, fatally injured, and J. M. Tarr, baggage master, John Rown,; newsboy. John G irrison, passenger,' seriously injured. The baggage car, I containing baggage, mail and ex-! press matter was burned. The acci-j dent was caused by the telegraph: operator at XTew Betnlehem failing to hold the passenger train for orders j 03 directed. : |
