A committee composed com-posed ot white and colored citizens of Corhaina county, Miss., have issued a circular invoking the eflorts of all good citizens of the county, in buhall of peace, and to protect tho private properly of the people fn ni the incendiary's in-cendiary's torch. It charges the colored dlierifl Brown with having sought to arouse the colored people to lawless acts by declaring to them in his harangues that while the gin houses are tho property of the whiteB the torch is the remedy for their grievances in the hands of colored men. It appears that Col. Stovall's steam in house was burned bv in cendiaries a few weeks ago. On the night of the 10th inst.. his stable and thirteen mules were burned, and an attempt was made to burn his dwelling. dwell-ing. The circular urges the woll-d woll-d ieposed citizons to organize, for the common protection against the incendiaries, and nightly patrol tho plantations.
