Show The Misery or Error. The Tribune is miserable, because its toituousway is not altogether plain sailing upon an unruffled sea. It has espoused an unholy cause, in opposition opposi-tion to the rights of the people and the decisions of overy court at all worthy of the name. It lecls troubled because the legal crudities of its edi-to edi-to rial judge are mado manifest whenever when-ever a person learned in the law opens upon them. It is sick and nervous ner-vous and. flatulent now because Judge Emerson comes and punctures its pretty bubbles. It must stop this hard work, and cease trying ' 'to make the wrong appear the better part." It must take catnip and soothing-syrup'and paregoric, and be put away in its little bed till it feels better inside. It is its own wind that troubles the Tribune. It can never feel right as long &s it feeds on substances sub-stances voided by the Chief Justice. They are neither nutritious nor palatable. |
